Arty Chandra is Senior Director of Business Development at InterDigital, based out of Long Island, New York. In her current role, she is responsible for business strategy and operations for the Government Solutions and IoT technology business. She has over 25 years of experience in Technology Incubation, Business Strategy, and Project Management in wireless telecommunications, Internet of Things and holds over 80 issued patents worldwide. She led the Incubation for InterDigital labs and created monetization strategy for products ranging from wireless backhaul, video compression to security. Ms. Chandra has also spent over ten years in various R&D roles at InterDigital, including leading a team of over 40 engineers in the development of IP and prototype for 4G Cellular standard. Ms. Chandra holds a Bachelors in Electronics Engineering from IIT- BHU, Masters in Electronics from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Eric Cohen is the Chief Development Officer at InterDigital, leading a combined business strategy and corporate development organization. In addition to leading acquisitions, strategic investments and the strategic growth roadmap for InterDigital, Mr. Cohen works to identify and develop industry relationships that will enable the company to continue to lead in existing technologies and to expand into new areas within the mobile ecosystem. Most recently, Mr. Cohen served as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Dolby Laboratories Inc., where he oversaw corporate development, mergers and acquisitions and corporate strategy. Prior to Dolby, Mr. Cohen was a managing director at Cowen Group, Inc., and he previously held positions at J.P. Morgan and Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Cohen’s deep background in investment banking includes strategic transactions and financings across a broad range of industries. He also sits on the Board of Directors of 7digital Group plc, and previously served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Via Licensing Corporation and as a Director of DTS Inc. Mr. Cohen holds an MBA from Stanford University as well as a B.Sc. degree from Brown University.
Fumi Kawamura is a Senior Business Development Manager at Sony, focusing on the IoT Business and 5G/AI technologies. Mr. Kawamura’s previous experience includes Sales and Marketing Management roles in the UK and Japan in the “Video over IP” areas such as video surveillance and video conferencing. Since 2012, Mr. Kawamura has been responsible for Strategic Partner Development with the goal of incubating strategic business collaborations with large corporations as well as startup companies with innovative business approaches. For Chordant business, Mr. Kawamura is the liaison with Sony R&D groups and helps with new business development in the Asian market including Japan.
Ken Corcoran is a Chief Executive Officer at Priority Partners. Mr. Corcoran is a veteran of 37 years in telecommunications. He has held senior positions within AT&T as well as America Movil serving as CTO of America Movil from 2001 until 2011. In his role as CTO, Ken grew Telcel Mexico network, from supporting 10 million to over 65 million subscribers. He was instrumental in the growth of Claro Brazil Network, from 2 million to 60 million subscribers. He chaired numerous industry committees which resulted in the IS-54 TDMA digital specification replacing analog cellular, as well as the U.S. IS-41 signaling (SS7) backbone resulting in seamless roaming and call delivery. In addition, Ken is currently a Board Member of Home Control AS and WebRadar SA, and advisor to numerous technology upstarts.
