Jim Nolan

Jim Nolan is Executive Vice President for Products at InterDigital. Mr. Nolan is also a founder and board member of Convida Wireless a Sony InterDigital joint venture focused on research and development and standardization of IoT and 5G solutions. Since joining InterDigital in 1996, Mr. Nolan has held a variety of engineering and executive management positions, including serving as the company’s senior engineering officer from 2006 through 2013. Serving as InterDigital’s Executive Vice President, Research and Development, from 2009 through 2012, and then as head of InterDigital Labs in 2013. In those roles, Mr. Nolan led InterDigital’s research and development teams, overseeing the development of standards-based technology as well as next generation technology initiatives, including advanced wireless solutions, machine-to-machine – Internet of Things technologies, video and bandwidth management technologies for Wi-Fi®/cellular networks. Mr. Nolan then led InterDigital Solutions from 2014 through 2015 where he was responsible for advancing a broad suite of market-ready technologies towards commercialization, as well as establishing and developing strategic business relationships and identifying potential new business opportunities. Mr. Nolan earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from NYU Tandon School of Engineering - Polytechnic Institute, and an Executive Master of Business Administration from Hofstra University.

Eric Cohen

Eric Cohen is the Chief Development Officer at InterDigital, leading a combined business strategy and corporate development organization. In addition to leading acquisitions, strategic investments and the strategic growth roadmap for InterDigital, Mr. Cohen works to identify and develop industry relationships that will enable the company to continue to lead in existing technologies and to expand into new areas within the mobile ecosystem. Most recently, Mr. Cohen served as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Dolby Laboratories Inc., where he oversaw corporate development, mergers and acquisitions and corporate strategy. Prior to Dolby, Mr. Cohen was a managing director at Cowen Group, Inc., and he previously held positions at J.P. Morgan and Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Cohen’s deep background in investment banking includes strategic transactions and financings across a broad range of industries. He also sits on the Board of Directors of 7digital Group plc, and previously served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Via Licensing Corporation and as a Director of DTS Inc.  Mr. Cohen holds an MBA from Stanford University as well as a B.Sc. degree from Brown University.

Fumi Kawamura

Fumi Kawamura is a Senior Business Development Manager at Sony, focusing on the IoT Business and 5G/AI technologies. Mr. Kawamura’s previous experience includes Sales and Marketing Management roles in the UK and Japan in the “Video over IP” areas such as video surveillance and video conferencing. Since 2012, Mr. Kawamura has been responsible for Strategic Partner Development with the goal of incubating strategic business collaborations with large corporations as well as startup companies with innovative business approaches. For Chordant business, Mr. Kawamura is the liaison with Sony R&D groups and helps with new business development in the Asian market including Japan.

Ken Corcoran

Ken Corcoran is a Chief Executive Officer at Priority Partners. Mr. Corcoran is a veteran of 37 years in telecommunications. He has held senior positions within AT&T as well as America Movil serving as CTO of America Movil from 2001 until 2011. In his role as CTO, Ken grew Telcel Mexico network, from supporting 10 million to over 65 million subscribers. He was instrumental in the growth of Claro Brazil Network, from 2 million to 60 million subscribers. He chaired numerous industry committees which resulted in the IS-54 TDMA digital specification replacing analog cellular, as well as the U.S. IS-41 signaling (SS7) backbone resulting in seamless roaming and call delivery. In addition, Ken is currently a Board Member of Home Control AS and WebRadar SA, and advisor to numerous technology upstarts.
